Vodič kroz izložbe i gradove, 2010
Na preseku različitih medija, moj rad je ukorenjen u iskustvo neposrednog okruženja. Kroz rad me interesuje kontakt sa ograničenim brojem publike, radeći sa načinima na koje iskustvo može da se podeli – iskustvo gradova u kojima sam živela ili boravila. Kroz često participatorne radove želim publiku da suočim sa situacijama nad kojima odbijam da preuzmem potpunu odgovornost. Interesuju me pozicije ovde i tamo, insajdera i autsajdera, kao i nepripadanja.
“Vodič kroz izložbe i gradove” je interaktivni rad koji kao medijum koristi sistem za slušno informisanje i vođenje koji se koristi u turističkoj i kulturnoj industriji. Bilo da se nalazimo u zatvorenom ili na otvorenom, audio vodič objašnjava šta je to što vidimo kao i ono što ne možemo da vidimo, a što je ukodirano u prostor u kome se nalazimo. On je veza između vizuelnog i kognitivnog. S druge strane, “Vodič kroz izložbe i gradove” koristi prostor “između”, on se zatiče između umetničkih radova drugih umetnika, između priča koje pričaju ti radovi, između istorije i budućnosti Memorijala, između zidova prostorija, na podu, između prozora, između pogleda i ušiju, između usta i ruke. “Vodič kroz izložbe i gradove” može da se nađe u prostoru koji delimo sa drugima, u prostoru koji je samo naš ali i u prostoru koji nikome neće pripasti. Rad dotiče slojeve memorije soba u kojima se nekad živelo, memorije osoba koje su prošle kroz njih. Koristeći prostor kao osnovnu referencu, kroz audio vodič raz(g)rađujem ga pričama o vremenskoj višeslojnosti Galerije Nadežde Petrović u Čačku, bavim se tragovima vremena kroz prostore i tragovima ljudi u drugim ljudima. Ovo vođenje posetilaca kroz izložbu daje mogućnost da se žuri kroz zidove i kroz vreme; on prevazilazi okvire samog prostora, nikada ga, zapravo, ne napuštajući.

Guide through exhibitions and cities, 2010
My work is created by intersection of various media, and is conceptually based on the experience of the immediate surroundings. Through work with a select number of audience members I examine ways to share an experience – experience of cities in which I lived or spent time in. Through participatory works, I want to confront the audience with situations of relinquished personal responsibility. I am interested in positions here/there, inside/outside and in non-belonging. “Guide through exhibitions and cities” is interactive work executed for an audio tour guide used in tourist- and cultural industry. Regardless of whether we are in an open or closed space, the guide tells us what is it that we can see, and explicates that which we cannot see but is coded in the space that surrounds us. The guide is a connection between the visual and the cognitive. On the other hand, “Guide through exhibitions and cities” uses space ‘in between’: it exists between works of other artists, between stories that these works have to tell, between the history and the future of the Memorial, between the walls of the rooms, between the windows, between the gaze and ears, mouth and hand. “Guide through exhibitions and cities” can be found in the space shared with others, in personal space and in the space owned by no-one. The work touches upon layers of memory of once lived-in rooms and of memories of people that passed through them. Using space as my main reference, I dissolve it with stories about temporal multiplicity of the Gallery Nadežda Petrović in Čačak, observing vestiges of time within spaces, and fragments of people within other people. This guide through the exhibition offers a posibillity to rush through walls and through time; it circumvents frames of space without ever leaving it.
